Laura Meyer is a home improvement and green lifestyles expert and is the Founder and CEO of The Ultimate Green Store.com - a one-stop green shopping destination for the home, office and everyone in the family. She is the author of Remodel This! A Woman’s Guide to Planning and Surviving the Madness of a Home Renovation (Penguin, 2007) , a featured expert in Random House’s series The Expert’s Guide (October, 2008) and has written many articles about going green for a number of publications and blogs.

Laura is a frequent television and radio talk show guest. Her appearances have included Oprah & Friends, Martha Stewart Living Radio, CNN’s Open House and ABC News. Laura has also been interviewed as an expert for many print articles including Town & Country Magazine, Yahoo, MarketWatch.com, The Washington Post, The Denver Post and BobVila.com. Additionally, she has been a guest speaker at a number of events that are “going-green” themed.

Laura started going green years ago because her twin sons had asthma and she was concerned about the effects on them of the chemicals contained in many conventional products that were being used to clean their home. Laura found that making changes such as switching to green cleaning products greatly improved her sons' health. Laura is passionate about the environment and organic living and believes that the chemicals found in so many every day household and personal care products are a very immediate concern. In founding The Ultimate Green Store.com, Laura's goal is to help consumers make better choices for their health, their families and the planet and to make shopping for green products convenient, accessible and educational.

Originally from New York City, Laura currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.
