If you have a spot, dab Laundry Detergent directly onto the spot and let sit for a minute or two. Wash as usual. The herb lemon verbena has a wonderful light, mild citrus scent that’s refreshing, invigorating and uplifting. What more could you ask of an herb? Complex mixtures as this are susceptible to micro-contamination during their shelf life and they want their products to be at their optimum freshness and safety during this period of time. They believe it is a greater health hazard to come in contact with a microbiological contaminant than a preservative ingredient. They use preservative ingredients that are highly efficient and are included in their formulations at less than one percent. Their preservatives do not contain formeldehyde. Mrs. Meyer’s fragrances contain natural essential oils and other non-natural ingredients to ensure safety, consistent performance and quality. Does Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Lemon Verbena Laundry Detergent contain phosphates or bleach? This laundry detergent contains no phosphates is are biodegradable. This product contains no bleach. How much detergent should I use? Mrs. Meyer’s recommends 1 capful (2 oz) per load or 1 ½ capfuls (3 oz) for very heavily soiled loads. Can I use this product on silk or wool? This Laundry Detergent is not recommended for silk or wool unless noted washable by the manufacturer. Will the use of Lemon Verbena Laundry Detergent shrink or fade my clothes and delicates? Mrs. Meyer’s recommends carefully following the manufacturer's directions when washing delicates. Always test an inconspicuous area or a seam before using their product on delicates.
