The Bento Buddies 2.0 set is completely free of phthalates, bisphenol A (BPA), PVC and lead. The containers can be used on their own directly inside a lunchbox or inside Bento 2.0 Systems, Kits, or Sets for additional configurations (they are NOT designed to work with the original Bento Box). These bento buddies sets also contain polyethylene lids to help seal food and prevent spills. The containers are microwave safe, but the container lids should NOT be used in the microwave.
