Description:

Ideal for hydroponic gardening, the Rainshow’r Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinator is a non-cartridge filter which attaches to your hose bib with a 3-foot vinyl reinforced hose saver. Designed specifically for filling hydroponic nutrient tanks, it effectively removes 85%-90% of free chlorine in tap water and reduces 50% - 60% of chloramine in pH balanced water. The Green Knight Hydroponic Dechlorinator is molded in white UV resistant polypropylene and comes standard with a 1.5-inch polyester Pre-filter to trap particular matter and increase the filter’s performance and efficiency.

The Green Knight operating parameters:
  • Recommended flow rate: 2 gpm
  • Temperature range: 40 F to 110 F
  • Max pressure: 100 psi
The Green Knight filter contains 2 lbs of KDF-55 (atomized brass), 2 oz of Crystal Quartz to reduce water cluster size, and 0.6 oz of KDF-73 brass filament for destabilizing the bond between chlorine and ammonia.

Note: Do not allow the filter to freeze. Back flush filter monthly to preserve ideal flow rate. Once the filter has been used, run water through the filter at least twice monthly, or store in a refrigerator to prevent media oxidization.

WARNING: The Gardn’ Gro and the Green Knight are designed for garden and hydroponic use, not as a drinking water filters. They are not designed to remove particulate matter or other contaminants such as organic chemicals from drinking water. Please also note that these filtration systems are not recommended for use in filling fish ponds.

Limited Warranty

This product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed, operated, and maintained in the manner instructed in the instruction sheet. The filter housing is warranted for one year from date of purchase. The filter cartridge is warranted for 90 days from date of purchase. Rainshow’r will repair or replace any product that fails to perform due to faulty material or workmanship. Items not covered under the warranty include damage due to misuse, improper maintenance, improper installation, excessive water pressure or temperature, freezing or general misapplication of filter's use and purpose. For questions or to make a claim under this warranty please contact The Ultimate Green Store. To effect and validate the warranty, fill out and return the attached warranty card to Rainshow'r within 15 days of purchase.
