Description:Made from 100% certified fair trade organic cotton sateen, this mattress pad is free of synthetics and toxic chemicals. Quilted in two-inch squares and filled with organic cotton batting, this comfortable and well-constructed mattress pad is the perfect foundation for your bed. Coyuchi’s 100% organic cotton mattress pads are certified by Control Union Certifiers of the Netherlands, GOTS and ECOCERT of France. They are also Fair Trade certified every step of the way from the cotton seed to the finished product. The fair trade certifications are issued by FLO-CERT of Germany and ECOCERT of France. Every fiber of cotton used by Coyuchi is produced in accordance with IFOAM growing and processing standards. SKAL, a Netherlands-based certifier, oversees the cotton grown for Coyuchi. The mattress pad fits on any mattress with its 15-inch deep corner pockets and constructed of a single layer of organic cotton batting sandwiched between an organic sateen top and an organic percale underside. This mattress pad is finished with in 2-inch quilted squares and is machine washable. Twill weave construction keeps this mattress pad wrinkle-resistant. These mattress pads are machine washable. We recommend using warm water, non-phosphate soap in the washing cycle, and a cool, no/low-heat tumble or line dry. The best way to dry, in our opinion, is to hang dry your Coyuchi products on a clothesline outside, capturing and bringing the magic of the outside back in. Wash with like items, wash whites and colors separately. For white fabrics, we suggest using non-chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low heat or line dry. The use of bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors, so we recommend not using any whiteners. But if you must, please use a non-chlorine bleach. |
