 Lapsaky Organic Cotton Baby Clothes is a family-based business located in Superior, Colorado. Lapsaky began around 2000 after many years of working for others in all aspects of garment design, sample making and design and manufacturing in areas from Haute Couture to Sports Clothing (rock climbing clothes to yoga clothing). They have had a retail website since 2003 and have seen a lot of growth in the organic cotton industry in this time, and are excited at the prospect of organic cotton becoming mainstream and available to all. Lapsaky offers clothing in color grown cotton (it is not dyed, but rather grown in the green, brown, and natural colors). They also offer organic cotton that is dyed with especially good quality, low-impact dyes to eliminate use of herbicides, pesticides, and finishing chemicals. Lapsaky believes the more interesting and fun they can make organic cotton, the more it will become a part of our every day life... just like eating organic foods, limiting the use of plastics, and thinking twice about getting into our cars and driving somewhere (when we could walk, bike, bus, train/subway). Organic cotton is destined to become a staple in our daily routine, and at Lapsaky, they have developed a collection of baby and kids clothing, which is colorful, functional, sturdily constructed, and sized to accommodate both the shrinkage of fabric and growth of child.
